New Ezra Music Video

My last music vid of the year! But not the decade, right Aida? ;) I had to make a fluffy one after my last angst-filled one. The song is "I Love The Way You're Breaking My Heart" by Peggy Lee. It simply encapsulates the way Ezra makes me feel. Sometimes it hurts to look at him, cause he's so darn pretty and he's not even real, but I can't look away, and I love it. :)

*is bored* Was watching vids on Youtube tonight and found this one - one of my all time favorite TV moments. I still remember when it first aired, I was probably around 10. I can't hear the song without thinking of this scene. The fact that they got married in real life just makes it better. :) I love the 80's version of Michael J. Fox. I think he must have been my first crush. :)

Thanks to my flist for the encouragement when I was about to give up, and to Winks for reminding me about the vid recently, as I hadn't thought about it in a while. :)

About the vid: It's a bit angsty, but I hope you enjoy it nonetheless. The ending is open to interpretation, so I won't say what I was thinking at the time I did it. :) The song always reminded me of Ezra, but I wasn't sure if could pull off making a video with it. Then I heard this particular version of the song, and thought I could do it. I did edit out some of the words in the beginning, as well as other parts of the song (it's quite long). Mostly the "My mother was a tailor, she sewed my new blue jeans." part. Just didn't fit with my vision. Anyway, enough about that. On to the vid!

That was Seamus' status on Facebook today. It cracked me up immensely, I don't know why. Perhaps because I completely agree. Be sure to check out Seamus on Ghost Whisperer this Friday on CBS. It's an old episode, but he's cute in it, as always. :)

Paranormal... aw crap

I just got done watching Paranormal Activity on my computer, after downloading it online. I thought it wasn't very scary, especially considering all the hype, and the end was pretty dumb. It was like watching an episode of Ghost Hunters. Then I realized I didn't see some of the parts that were shown in the trailer, and I checked the file name, and it said 2007. It must be the first version of the film, before it was re-edited and more special effects were added. Darnit. Now I have to watch it all over again! That is, once I find the final, scary version. And it better be scary!

1. Anthony Starke in The Pretender. I just thought he was hot as hell, standing there with his shirt off and smoking a cigarette. I think smoking is one of those conundrums - fundamentally icky, but attractive if done by the right person. :)

2. This is from the bloopers on the Castle DVD: Detective Ryan getting slapped by Castle. As soon as I saw it, I knew I had to make an icon from it! I love the way Seamus arches his eyebrows.

3. Tony playing a man dying of cancer in Cold Case. I thought this shot looked like he was looking up to heaven, so I played around with adding angel wings. I did a few different icons, but I really like how the wing came out in this one - I used a few different filters on it. The text was just an after thought. I dunno why I always feel the need to add text to icons. :)

4. My only Make It Or Break It icon in use, although it's more of a general Tony icon. :) I just like the angle of his face here, and the way his lips are separated. Hot. :)

5. I was watching Penance, and really liked the way this scene with Poplar lying dead in the street was shot from an aerial view. I thought Ezra looked particularly yummy from above, and I just love the way he walks. :) I think I was listening to Johnny Cash at the time, and thought the lyric was relevant to Ezra.

6. This was one of my first M7 icons, and has been my default icon for a long time. I just think it's a fun shot, and it makes me wish we had more behind the scenes stuff from the show.

My mom is always forwarding me funny emails, although normally they're not very funny. :) This one made LOL a bit, so I thought I'd share it.

Three women die together in an accident and go to heaven.

When they get there, St. Peter says,

'We only have one rule here in heaven:
Don't step on the ducks!'

So they enter heaven, and sure enough, there are ducks all over the place. It is almost impossible not to step on a duck, and although they try their best to avoid them, the first woman accidentally steps on one.

Along comes St. Peter with the ugliest man she ever saw.
St. Peter chains them together and says,
'Your punishment for stepping on a duck is to
Spend eternity chained to this ugly man!'

The next day, the second woman steps accidentally on a duck and along comes St. Peter, who doesn't miss a thing.
With him is another extremely ugly man.
He chains them together with the same admonishment as for the first woman.

The third woman has observed all this and, not wanting to be chained for all eternity to an ugly man, is very, VERY careful where she steps.

She manages to go months without stepping on any ducks, but one day St. Peter comes up to her with the most handsome man she has ever laid eyes on...

St. Peter chains them together without saying a word.

The little trip to Wisconsin I talked about 2 weeks ago is now happening this coming week. The weather isn't really any better, but oh well. Because we're now going off season, we got a really good deal on a 2 bedroom condo type place, so yay! No trying to fall asleep while my dad snores. When I get back, I'll post the icons for the first icon challenge at STARKEness. I just hope enough people enter. I'll be happy if just 3 people participate!

And in other news, today when I went to my car, it was covered in bird parts! There was a whole foot, and the intestines were on the windshield. I took a stick and either flicked the stuff off my car, or picked it up. It was probably the nastiest thing I've ever had to do. And of course I thought I should share that lovely story with you. :)

Q. Is Castle really in trouble again?
A. YES. Castle had the worst premiere ratings on ABC this season. It has decent numbers for viewers, but its ratings in the critical demographic are low. This is what makes or breaks a show, and it's not looking good for Castle.

Youtube says: Half-naked Ezra is hot

I just found out that on Youtube, you can view a "Hot Spots" graph for videos that you upload.

The ups-and-downs of viewership at each moment in your video, compared to videos of similar length.
The higher the graph, the hotter your video: fewer viewers are leaving your video and they may also be rewinding to watch that point in the video again.
Audience attention is an overall measure of your video's ability to retain its audience.

Not surprising, the clip of half-naked Ezra ranks quite high in Audience Attention, more than any of my other vids. According to the graph, people are rewinding it to watch again. hehe So this very scientific data confirms what we already know: half-naked Ezra is hot! :)

I did find it surprising though that 50% of the people that watch my M7 vids are 17 or under. That's a lot of new M7 fans. And 95% are female. That part wasn't so surprising. :)

Here's my latest Magnificent Seven music video, which I made today. I didn't spend too much time on it, just wanted to do something fun and quick. It's a team vid, and features a lot of kissing and shirtless men. :) Also, I only matched up the scenes with the lyrics in a few spots because A) the lyrics are hard to understand and B) it would have been hard choosing scenes since this version of the song is basically about strippers! I first heard the song in the trailer for the movie The Ugly Truth, starring Gerard Butler. Hope you enjoy it.

Seamus Dever in Drop Dead Diva

Seamus was in last week's episode of Drop Dead Diva, titled The Dress. He played the owner of Girls Gone Wild, who was being sued. You can tell he's sleazy because his shirt is unbuttoned.

I was watching part of his episode, not realising he was in it, and then I changed the channel before I ever saw he was on. Doh. However, I was able to catch the episode online.

A little hand porn. I love when guys' thumbs stick out like that. I wonder if there's a name for that?
