New M7 Music Video - I Got Stripes

mood: awake

It's been a while since I've made any music videos, but I just finished this new one. I used one of my favorite Johnny Cash songs, I Got Stripes. I have a lot more ideas for other vids, and now that I finally have all the M7 episodes on my hard drive, hopefully it won't take me forever to make another one!

That was wonderful. I've never heard that song before, even though I've been collecting Johnny Cash tunes lately - gotta add that one to the collection - and I'll be thinking of your vid every time I hear it, too !

I just started collecting Johnny Cash songs too, after hearing a bunch (including that one) on an episode of Cold Case. I have another Johnny Cash song in mind for another M7 vid! That one will be a little dark though, so I hope it turns out.

Wow. That totally rocked. The chosen scenes meshed with the song really really well! And man, our boys sure did wind up in jail or tied up a lot, lol.

Thanks! The song at first just reminded me of Chris in Inmate 78, but then I realized that I could make it a group vid, because they all really did get themselves into trouble quite a bit!

(are you familiar with the band Flogging Molly? I always thought their "Devil's Dance Floor" would make a great vid for Chris and Ella)

Thanks! I've heard of Flogging Molly, but don't know the song. Not sure I could stand to make a Chris/Ella vid though, as Ella is probably my most hated character on the show! I can barely look at her, her mouth freaks me out! :o

I loved this vid!! The combination and timing of each scene with the words was perfect. Ezra's "got me diggin' ditches" bit in particular had me laughing out loud with glee. Another great bit of fun. Thank you!!!

Love the clips you chose to go with the song; they fit perfectly! I love your vids and look forward to lots more.

Can I ask - do you have your vids available for download? I have the slowest Broadband link ever and the vids take forever to play on the streaming sites. I always try to download them instead.

Some of my vids are available for download. I don't know the links off hand, but they should be posted on my LJ, if you click on the "vid" tag. I don't have this one available yet, but you can use a site like mediaconverter.org to save videos off of Youtube.
