Monkey Love!

As a birthday gift to my myself, I bought the movie Monkey Love starring Seamus Dever. It was only $5 on ebay! I thought it was a really cute movie, although it did have its flaws. But I really liked the interaction and conversations between Seamus' character and his best friend Dil, played by Jeremy Renner. And of course I loved Seamus in it. He's all adorkable, with the big hair and thick glasses. See for yourself...


I guess I should give a warning for adult language! Also for some reason the volume is really low. Download the movie here.

D'aaaawh. ;; He really is adorkable in that! The movie looks really funny too, haha. The bit at 7:25 made me laugh so hard, as did the last clip. x'D<3 I wanted to hug him when the girl dumped him, awwr.

Yep, so adorkable. I have such a soft spot for guys like that. I loved the bit when he was trying to be all cool by jumping into the booth and got tripped up. Sums up his character pretty much. The girl dumping him is my favorite scene! Although I also really like when he's trying to kiss her outside after they had sex. She's crazy for dumping him, but she's in love with the other guy.

Yep, I made a Seamus icon just for this post. :) I need to make some more I think. :)

My birthday was back on the 7th. But thanks!

D'awh, I feel like I have to watch this movie now. xD<3 Yeah, when he was trying to kiss her it was so adorably awkward. It's pretty refreshing (I don't know if that's the right word) actually, to see a character obsessed with sex who isn't a disgusting pig. =P

Hee, I wouldn't object to more icons. :3

Ah! Well, make that a Belated Happy Birthday, then. =]

I can upload Monkey Love for you if you want! Normally I don't like sex comedies. All those raunchy teen flicks, like American Pie, I hate. But in this movie, Aaron (that's his name) is just sweet and shy when it comes to girls, and he's just obsessed with sex in a really intellectual way. Just trying to figure it all out. LOL He wants to study Human Biology or something in college. :)

Yeah, I agree with you about sex comedies. I never really see the humour in them, but this one seems charming in a way. Awwr, lol. Aaron does seem really sweet.

When they were talking about porn and then the camera went to the old woman behind the counter - I totally cracked up, because the first thing I thought of was my story!

And the guy without the glasses, he's in 'The Unusuals'.

Seamus Dever looks familiar, what has he been in that I may have seen?

Sorry I don't think I read your story. Do you have a link for it? All the sex talk cracks me up. I left out a lot of it, it's all he talks about in the movie!

Jeremy Renner is the guy without the glasses, I like him too. Seen him in a lot of stuff. Unfortunately The Unusuals was canceled!

Seamus plays Det. Ryan on Castle! Remember when I posted that pic spam of him a few weeks ago? My Tony look-a-like.

You see, I knew I saw him somewhere. He has one of those faces that's very hard to forget.

The Unusuals cancelled already! I only watched the pilot. Like all but the two main characters. Shame, I was going to catch up on it. Oh, well.

I read the story, and I loved it! Especially when Ezra slammed his head on the door and the girls laughed at him, and when he and Vin were playing 20 questions! You wrote both of their voices really well. I don't really like it when the characters in the ATF AU speak like they do in the OW. You do a good job of bringing them into modern times while still keeping their characters intact.

It does tend to drive me a little nutsy when people write Vin - in the atf - as though he'd never had an education. *grrr*
